Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Service Agreement

  • Services Provided: A detailed description of tasks will be established prior to each booking (via website, quote, or written communication). Specialized services such as post-construction, deep cleans, and move in/out cleanings may require custom quotes.
  • Service Location: The address specified in your booking or contract.
  • Frequency: One-time or recurring (per your selected schedule).
  • Service Times: Services will be performed during mutually agreed-upon windows. Delays or changes will be communicated promptly.

2. Client Obligations

  • Access: You agree to provide our cleaners safe and unfettered access to the premises, including working utilities (water, electricity, lighting, heating/cooling as needed).
  • Site Condition: The premises should be free of hazards and accessible for cleaning; excessive clutter, hazardous materials, or obstructions not disclosed prior to booking may incur additional fees or lead to partial/non-service.
  • Valuables/Security: Please secure valuables and fragile items. The Company is not liable for unreported pre-existing damage or for loss of items not directly caused by our negligence.

3. Supplies & Equipment

  • Our Responsibility: We provide all standard cleaning supplies and equipment unless you specifically request use of your own.
  • Client Responsibility: If providing supplies or equipment, you attest they are safe, functional, and fit for the intended purpose.

4. Service Quality & Satisfaction

  • Walkthrough/Approval: If you are present at completion, you are encouraged to inspect our work and highlight concerns for immediate resolution.
  • After Service: Notify us of any unsatisfactory work within 24 hours for re-clean eligibility (see Refund Policy for further details).
  • Photos: We take “before and after” photos of service areas (never people or personal items) for quality control, dispute resolution, and transparency. These are not shared or published except with your explicit permission (see Privacy Policy).

5. Payment & Fees

  • Rates: Fees are as stated in your quote or online booking, and may be hourly, flat-rate, or per project.
  • Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed (recurring accounts may be billed per period). Non-payment may result in service suspension and fees.
  • Additional Charges: Extra fees may apply for undisclosed, excessive mess, remediation, or rescheduling/cancellation inside 24 hours of service window.

6. Cancellations, No-Show, & Access Failure

  • Your Cancellation: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to force majeure (unforeseeable circumstances) or safety.
  • Access Failure: If cleaners arrive and cannot access the site as scheduled, a partial fee may be charged for time lost/travel.

7. Insurance, Damages & Liability

  • Insurance: We carry all legally required business and liability insurance.
  • Limits: The Company is not liable for normal wear, pre-existing damage, or damage resulting from unstable fixtures or undisclosed hazards.
  • Claims: Damage or loss claims must be reported within 24 hours of service for investigation.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate ongoing services with written notice (7 days minimum for recurring, immediate for cause: eg. non-payment, unsafe environment, repeated cancellation).
  • Any outstanding fees accrue to the last day of service.

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All client data and property details are kept strictly confidential and used as per our Privacy Policy.
  • Service area photos are treated with the utmost care and are not published or used for marketing without your explicit, written consent.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • We strive for prompt, amicable solutions. In the unlikely event of disagreement, please contact our office directly.
  • Jurisdiction for unresolved matters will be the courts of California, Alameda County, except as otherwise mutually agreed.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may amend these terms from time to time; current versions will always be available at [trivalleycleaningco.com/terms] and notified by email for active clients.
